What are PetSites™?

PetSites are secure, personal client interfaces that function as communication gateways between your practice management software and the Internet.  Through your practice’s website, your clients login to their easy-to-use personal PetSites, where they can access the pet medical information you choose to make available to them – anytime, day or night. 
 

Are PetSites customizable to my practice?

Yes. PetSites are flexible tools for your hospital and practice management software, that can be customized in color scheme and functionality.  Very few doctors use their practice management software the same way, so it is imperative that PetSites be customized to meet each practice’s needs.
 

Will PetSites match my current website?

Yes. We know brand continuity is important to your practice, so PetSites have been designed to resemble the color scheme of your practice’s website.  We offer a large variety of pre-built themes and work closely with eVetSites (another VIN business partner) to match their themes.  If you have a custom website we will work with you to make PetSites match it.

What is involved in providing PetSites to my clients?

After the initial PetSites installation and Web Services Setup, you simply have to add a login button to your home page and begin telling clients about their PetSites.  The interface is easy to use, but  - should your clients need them - there are step-by-step tutorials to help with questions.

When is data from my practice management software synchronized with PetSites?

PetSites synchronizes your data when initiated by an individual client or when your hospital opts to utilize additional  VetTools services, such as reminders or newsletter functions.

What makes PetSites different from other online portal services?

PetSites provides a “live” solution along with a standard request-only service.  Using the live service allows your clients to access and communicate with your practice management software in a real-time environment.  The beauty of the solution is that you can customize the service to your needs and wants and only allow your clients to see and interact with the data you want them to.

How secure is my hospital's information?

Your data is protected and hosted by VIN.  Need we say more?

Does VetVision ever sell or make available to third parties any information related to my clients or patients, or do they aggregate (remove distinguishing information from) data for profit?

Absolutely not.

How secure is the connection between my hospital and PetSites?

The connection is very secure, with layers of hospital-unique and controlled access points throughout the process of logging in and PetSite usage.

How can we customize PetSites to complement how we use our practice management software?
